My name is Sam and I founded The Stamford School of English in Rosarno (RC) in 1999. In 2003, the second school was opened in Palmi (RC)
I am a qualified UK primary school teacher, a teacher of English as a Foreign Language and possess a postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs. I am also the Cambridge Exams Manager for our Authorised Cambridge Exam Centre IT691.
I currently have over 30 years’ combined experience in education and management in the UK and Italy and love my job here at The Stamford!
The Stamford School runs English language courses for all ages and levels and over the years, we have helped thousands of students improve their English and achieve success in English-speaking contexts all over the world – from New Zealand to London!

We are very proud to be the only Authorised Cambridge Exam Centre in the Piana di Gioia Tauro and my role as Cambridge Exams Manager is to support all candidates and preparation centres in their journey towards obtaining international certification.
In 2003, The Stamford was accredited by the Department of Education with presa d'atto prot n. 2762/A and became a member of AISLi, the Italian Association of Language Schoools. We undergo regular didactic and adminstrative inspections to maintain this prestigious membership.
